For more than two decades, I worked as a television journalist, reporting on current events and telling the stories of others.
Behind the scenes, I was living the same fast-paced, high-pressure life that so many professionals know well.
Everything changed when I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Instead of seeing chemotherapy as punishment, I made an unusual decision: I turned it into a four-month personal retreat dedicated to healing—not only my body, but also my mind.
Through Zen practice, meditation, and mindful awareness, I discovered that suffering isn't created only by circumstances, but by the relationship we develop with them.
Today, I help people and organizations navigate stress, uncertainty, and life's biggest transitions with practical tools rooted in mindfulness, emotional resilience, and Zen wisdom.
One of my unique strengths is the ability to put deeply human experiences into words that people have felt their entire lives but never knew how to express. Whether I'm speaking about fear, uncertainty, loss, identity, or healing, audiences often tell me:
"You just described exactly what I've been feeling." When people feel understood, they feel less alone. And that's where transformation begins."
